Journey with Neid Fire

This would be at minimum a one day event covering the Neid Fire practice that was once used throughout UK, Europe, Scandinavia, Baltics and Slavs - abolished by the church and mostly buried in the ashes. Now is the time to reclaim our traditions. It is time to reconnect with fire, land, the world, nature, ourselves and community.
This event would be tailored and price would very much depend on size of group; location; number of days etc.
This event would be for individuals and groups to learn about the Neid Fire so they could adopt it in their own practices.
The would loosely cover :
The history and folklore of the Neid Fire practice
The banning of the practice by The Church and it's "disappearance" from our culture
The importance of communally welcoming fire
The materials needed and the time needed to find and collect materials
As a group making and using a fire churn together
Discussing ways of using the churn in ritually, hat people would want to weave into a Neid Fire ritual
Preparing for a ritual - preparing the fire, the space
Ritually welcoming fire as a group
Cooking on the fire and eating communally to give thanks and offerings
Structured discussion around the fire using talking stick
Tending the fire until the end of the event
How I run this event would be tailored depending on the people and evolve in it's own way and include lots of open discussion.
